We will refund any part of your purchase for 30 days from purchase date. Period.

After 30 days, contact us and we'll talk about any problems. We understand clearly if you can't trust the business that is selling to you that you will take your business elsewhere. We intend to earn your trust and your business.

Please understand FOB (ownership transfer point) is when the product is given to the shipping agent. All loss and damage issues must be settled with the shipper. Naturally we will provide any all assistance to you to resolve any shipper disputes.

UPS Standard to Canada entry preparation fees vary depending on the value of the shipment:

UPS Standard does not include the brokerage fee in the label cost. The fee covers tasks such as preparing and submitting customs entries, calculating duties and taxes, and facilitating the release of goods by customs authorities. Customers are responsible for paying duties and taxes.

Paragon & Evenheat heat treat oven free shipping includes shipping cost, residential fees, and potential lift gate service fees within the contiguous United States(Except WA). Free shipping will based on Standard UPS and Motor freight. Any form of expedited shipping or storage fees will be paid by the customer. Shipping for replacement parts or upgraded parts after purchase will be paid for by the customer.

Due to higher shipping costs for Kiln Shipping to Washington state, we will contact you with a shipping quote.

To be clear contiguous United States excludes shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. Orders being sent outside the contiguous United States or Internationally the customer will be subject to all shipping cost.

Kiln / Oven Shipping Procedures

Prior to signing for the delivery of kilns, it is imperative to thoroughly inspect the shipment BEFORE Signing. Be sure to capture multiple pictures of the freight delivery from various angles.

Midwest Knifemakers Supply, LLC cannot be held responsible for visibly damaged freight signed for by the consignee (person or company receiving the freight or acting on their behalf).

Delivery Confirmation with Signature Required

The advantage of "Delivery Confirmation w/ Signature Required" is that it ensures your presence and signature are required when the package is delivered. This step has been added for your protection, as it makes claiming delivery damage much easier. If no one is present after three delivery attempts, the kiln will be returned to the manufacturer, and you will need to pay for re-delivery.

What if my Shipment is Damaged or Something is Missing?

All merchandise is closely inspected before shipping, and any damage in transit is the responsibility of the carrier. If your freight shipment shows visible damage upon delivery, it must be refused and not signed for. If refused, the shipping company will take it away, and financial responsibility for the damaged freight will not be yours. If you sign for visibly damaged freight, the costs of repairs, replacement, and any associated shipping costs will be your responsibility. Midwest Knifemakers Supply, LLC, and the kiln manufacturer will not be held financially responsible for any visibly damaged freight that is signed for by the consignee.

Concealed Damage

If there is concealed damage to the shipment, it must be reported to the freight company, Midwest Knifemakers Supply, and the kiln manufacturer within 5 business days. If the freight is received with damage to the shipping container but not to the kiln itself, the delivery can be accepted while noting the packaging damage on the delivery receipt.

Missing Items or boxes

It is crucial to remember that if your freight shipment is missing any of the boxes indicated on the freight bill, it must be noted on the bill. Failure to do so means that the freight company, Midwest Knifemakers Supply, and the kiln manufacturer will not be held responsible if you sign the Freight Bill without noting any shortages.

If you need to leave town before your kiln is delivered, please give us a call or send us an email beforehand so we can make the necessary arrangements. If you don't let us know before we ship your order, you may be responsible for storage fees and return shipping costs.

International Customers

We welcome international customer purchases. If you have any problems or questions during your checkout process, please let us know and we can assist you through your order.

We will not replace lost international shipments. We suggest you purchase shipping insurance.

All International shipment orders are via Priority Mail. We use Flat Rate Boxes whenever possible to keep the shipping costs as low as possible. Upon customer request, we can ship via Express Mail. These rates can be seen upon checkout before you pay for your order. The website is not able to calculate flat rate shipping prices, we will refund any difference in price that you were charged.

If you want insurance, we will purchase it and bill you accordingly. All international purchases will be billed via PayPal invoice.

It is important to make the necessary arrangements for customs brokerage prior to shipping your oven. If you do not have a customs broker in place at the time of shipping, you will be contacted directly – thus resulting in a delay for the delivery.

If you have your own customs broker setup, please make sure that the broker’s name and contact information is indicated in the Order Notes at time of purchase.

(For goods entering Canada exceeding $20.00 CDN, a customs broker is required to clear the goods into Canada – regardless of the courier and service selected)
